our class began a new age. With Barack Obama being Illinois' former senator, we watched in delight to see him glide across the steps and take the oath with Lincoln's Bible.
CBS stated that between 1.8 million to 2 million people were in attendance as this historic day was broadcast around the world. The Lincoln Seminar class watched intently to see what was going on in our nation's capital. Cheers were heard while the flow of tears could be seen in the eyes of some.
